Getting ready for Remote Learning

Fountain Gate Primary School is currently teaching classes via remote learning. Each morning, students in years 4-6 expected to open their google classroom app (iPad or tablet) or go to classroom.google.com (laptop/PC) and check in to their classroom. Once they have checked in, they will be able to access work posted by their classroom teacher. Students in P-3 have all received a learning pack. All students are expected to attend the daily WebEx session hosted by their teacher, to receive instruction on what parts of the learning pack to complete that day as well as lessons.

Students are able to communicate with their teacher directly using Google Classroom. If parents would like to contact their child's teacher, they can do so by going into Compass and selecting the email teacher option.

There is a lot of technical support being offered by the school, please call us on 9703 1187 if you are having any technical problems.

Thank you all for your patience as we work on developing and refining our remote learning practices, with the aim of making the learning effective and as straight forward as possible for you and your children.

Student Emails are their Google Codes that were sent home, followed by @schools.vic.edu.au
